Nicolás Biondi — studio portrait of the photographer

About me

I was born on the afternoon of a May 28th, back when Daft Punk and Oasis ruled the charts. A few days after I was born, a psychic said I would grow up to become a millionaire… who knows?

I showed an interest in art from an early age — I loved drawing, listening to music and taking pictures with my parents' camera every chance I got. Today, almost all of my time goes into photography. I studied at the Lima Museum of Art and multimedia design at the Norbert Wiener Institute, then took courses in studio photography and lighting, documentary photography and photo-reportage.

I have worked with chains such as Hilton Garden Inn, Radisson Hotels, Segundo Muelle, Claro Perú and Mandrágora, and with brands like Play, Carpe Diem, Pukllana and Amangora.

Between 2016 and 2019 I taught photography and lighting. I worked for the Toulouse Lautrec institute (UCAL), the Lima School of Photography, and the platforms Haz Mejores Fotos and Clínica de Pymes, where I also taught ecommerce.
