Now

This is what fills my days in October 2026, in actual order of priority.

LENZ Photo Store

I run the ecommerce of LENZ Photo Store, a Canon and Sony distributor in Peru. The store is my main project and the source of most of the stories I tell.

Building with AI agents

I'm not a career programmer, but I build almost all of the store's software with AI agents. I write about it every week on the blog: a pipeline of my own drafts each post, several models review it, and I keep the final word. The exact tools are on the uses page.

Teaching

I teach photography and ecommerce. Preparing a class forces me to sort out what I think I know, and I usually find out I knew less.

Volunteer firefighter

I still take shifts at the fire company. It's a weekly reminder that some systems don't fix a mistake with a rollback.

Reading and learning

Papers on AI agents and camera manuals, depending on the week's mood.

This is a /now page: what I'm doing now, not a bio. The idea comes from Derek Sivers.
